The latest release of ACE will be available in early May 2025.

 Advanced Geospatial Data Integration

A key advancement in this release is the integration of spatial data management directly within the database, adhering to industry geospatial standards. Geospatial information for all inventory entities—such as sites, cables, and zones—is now stored using advanced geospatial capabilities from Oracle GIS and MySQL GIS Extensions.

This allows for efficient spatial data storage, retrieval, and analysis, providing a scalable, high-performance environment for managing infrastructure geolocation and topology.

This dual compatibility ensures flexibility and adaptability across a wide range of deployment scenarios—from enterprise-scale telecom environments to agile, map-centric applications.

Other Key Features include:

• Support for loading and managing custom cartographic layers via public WMS services.
• Polygon creation, update, and validation to ensure non-overlapping territories.
• GIS entity management for Points (Site, ODF, DSL box, Optical Splitter), Lines (Fiber Cable), and Polygons (Zones).
• Export of GIS data in Shapefile format.
• Seamless integration with ACE UCMDB to unify spatial and inventory intelligence.
